John Hoffler is the President and CEO of the Hoffler Group, Inc. He has served as president of several Information Technology professional organizations.
Mr. Hoffler specialized in Enterprise Java technologies. He writes graphical client/server applications as well as Servlets/JavaServer Pages. He has provided Java training to several Fortune 500 companies, including May Department Stores and Maritz. Mr. Hoffler has been an instructor at Washington University's Center for the Application of Information Technology and wrote the Center's curricula for IBM VisualAge for Java and IBM WebSphere Application Server.
Mr. Hoffler is currently the National Director of Professional Development for the Black Data Processing Associates and president of the Greenville Chapter. He is a former president of the St. Louis Metro Chapter and of the Gateway/2 OS/2 Users' Group.

Mr. Hoffler holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a former United States Navy Lieutenant. While serving in the U.S. Submarine Force he earned a Navy Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Expeditionary Medal and several other commendations.
